Kim's Custom made Ride

BJ brought the result of two years hard work to Catalano's this morning in the form of a stunning customised BMW with a myriad of unique features.

It was a shame that most of the regulars were immersed in the cool weather at Bencubbin and missed the carefully crafted air head.

Good to see Wes' 1150 GSA amongst the bikes.

Kim outlined a suggested route which attracted a mob.

Nine riders including Nev, German Paul, Host, Sven, Trevor, Kim, Swampy and Bozo headed up the scarp at Campersic Road before taking the serpentine course through O'Brien Road, Clenton Road and Berry Road to take advantage of the stunning riding weather. Nev left us a O'Brien Road as we took Toodyay Road to turn on to the Clackline - Toodyay Road.

Bakers Hill was the refuelling stop before taking Coates Road and Government Road to Chidlow and then home.

Lots of motorcycles out adding to an enjoyable ride.

Thanks to Swampy for missing the Jap Motorcycle Show and riding tail end Charlie.

Bozo, you, DFS, Digger, Bear, BJ, German Paul, Robin Morritt, et al are all heroes but you all pale in comparison to this dude. Bow in deference

In defense of our local blokes, there are photos and hard evidence to back up their ADV qualities.

Remember the old adage Frank, 'No photos, it didn't happen...'

Frank H, as quoted on Wikipedia, has a questionable history. Terms used in just the first paragraph: 'uncertain; claimed; supposedly; claimed; none proven... :!:
born, uncertain – died 1951) claimed he was an American professional horseman who at one time performed with the Ringling Brothers Circus. He was supposedly a legendary distance rider, claimed to have won 400 races, and was recognized by his contemporaries as supporting the preservation of the mustang.[2] None of his claims can be proven

On a completely different note and back on track again, I just want to say that Boz and Kim threw together a rippa little ride along the Scarp on Sunday.

Almost as many twisties as the Airport 8)

Loved every turn. Must remember to fit up the goPro next time :P

Keep up your legendary efforts :P

Looking at the photos of the Bencubbin ride, it looks like all the modern bikes were out in the bush.

Whereas Cat's on Sunday brekky featured only a spattering of late model bikes... including a couple of Hondas (which don't count).

Completely out-numbered by the air-head crew :|

I trust our German tourists enjoyed their ride with us?
