Nannup Pub Rub 04/11/17- Reminder

Hi all. I have been asked to post reminder for the Nannup Pub run. Some time AGO I checked with Nannup Pub (Tel.97561080) and they had single rooms available upstairs. Not sure if that is still the case. Alternatively there is a camping/ caravan park which, from memory, is close to the pub.
Meeting place is the Floopers Service Station at North Dandelup. Depart there 11 am on 04/11/17. It's a about a 4 1/2 hour run there from North Dandelup with no stops and observing the speed limit. An 11 am departure should allow plenty of leeway for a stop at Quinndanning and at other points before Nannup. Obviously, I'm keen to get there well before the Roos start getting active and to give any campers a chance to get a tent pitched in daylight. Fuel available at Darkan, Boyup Brook and Bridgetown.
Cheers
BB

I will be there, hopefully not too big a night had before, so should make Floopers on time.
I was going to tent it as usual, the hotel does have some spare single rooms for $65 pn...so thought why not.
Get the word about, be great to get some newer & less seen faces there, be a good little time & all too easy.

Hope you get a good mob.

The group has arrived safely at Nannup despite attempts by stray BMW riders to hijack members to the No Name rally at Bridgetown.

The Nannup Ten are back in Perth. Bolton, Goldie, Guy, Red Emperor Eddy, Gerry, Braam, Colin, Peter, Swampy and Bozo co starred with a wedding and the locals at the Nannup Hotel. No singing but a lot of reminiscing and some complaining (mainly about the self appointed wine judge). A mystery dual compartment container found near the bikes still remains unexplained but may have belonged to the wedding party.
The South West was awash with motorcyclists with numerous events on including the No Name Rally near Bridgetown.
A good trip back via Wellington Dam and Dwellingup. Part of the group got breathalysed at Lane Poole. We were just talking about being careful on Del Park Road when an unmarked police car with lights and sirens went past. A further two police vehicles were spotted heading south on South West Highway.
The group travelled well together thanks to Swampy (with a new numberplate) riding tail end Swampy.
Great timing by Bolton for the trip getting fantastic weather and a still green countryside.
Thanks Bolton for organising the trip and making sure it all went smoothly.
