A diverse roll up this morning with a few interstate visitors, Dinga from Darwin and Jamie from NSW. Great to see that the adventure film maker's son did not fall far from the tree.

Eight riders with a twenty year age range (84 down) headed out to the north. Prof Dist, Ted, Ross, Peter, Robbie, Emperor Eddie, Bozo and Swampy made up the octet on bikes with a 800 cc range in capacity. The departure was hurried as the bus wanted to used our assembly point. A very free flowing ride via the international airport had us to the Swan Valley in 30 minutes. A short delay behind an overwidth load and a slow moving car and we were able to enjoy the Chittering Valley twisties. A quick break at Bindoon before heading up the Crest Hill Road and then on to the Bindoon-Moora Road. The group stopped at the Mogumber Hotel for a photo then a quick run on Yarwindah Brook Road with Prof Dist down to 12 km range. Refuelling at New Norcia was followed by a run to Calingiri, Bolgart and Toodyay. After a stop at the Coca Cola Café the main group returned via Clackline and Chidlow.

A great day for a ride and a lot of good humour.

Thanks to Swampy and the white pointer for keeping the group together until Toodyay.

The group at Mogumber Tavern. We were a day late for the Rodeo.
