Some of the comments are not too flattering. After watching the video, I can see why.

Digger
Looks like the Safaris are being taken over from monosyllabic salt of the earth riders with a copy of Len Beadell's books in their tank bag to mono popping arts graduates with Shelley and Keats digital collections on their drone enabled I phones. Hard to relate to the video and much prefer the honesty and grittiness of yours. Nice to actually hear the sound of a motorbike and a non studio commentary.

Are you suggesting a kind of Ozymandias is happening?
Grittiness? He’s just bought a new camera. Must be sand in the shorts.

Close, but no cigar, although, somehow it fits. (abject apologies to Shelley and Smith and anyone else that is offended).
The first line of the sonnet could apply to Digger, and of course, you.

At least BMW made a video of this Safari, obviously WA didn't make the grade with our safari run in the SW in Octoberlast year. If it wasn't for 2 of our members Jono and Mongrel Dog taking it upon themselves to video the event there wouldn't be any footage. They had a cameraman running around taking photos but I haven't seen any of his photos surface anywhere. In contrast with our eastern states events there seems to be unlimited facilities put into coverage of their events. I was disappointed with BMW with this issue as I am sure other participants were.
Mind you the airy fairy, serene , unrealistic, boring video they put together doesn't do the ride justice compared to M/D productions efforts. Idiots wheelstanding all thru the video is quite unrealistic what about showing the dificult sections of the event with riders making mistakes or pinning the ride so others can learn from their mistakes. They might as well get Dave Attenborough to do their next one if they are going to continue with this standard or give the job to Mongrel Dog productions who knows what fellow riders want in a video.
