All grins with new GS for Goldie

Strong turn out again at the Sunday assembly at Catalanos with interesting bikes including a Chang Jiang with a BMW airhead motor and a new GS Rallye for Goldie.

Beemer Dave was looking full of beans and ready to get back to riding soon.

Goldie had a grin wider than a Chevy grille having taken delivery of a "just out of the box" BMW.

Good to see Raider back from his exploits taking Just in Time principles to the max with his DR just surviving the journey.

Colin, Peter, German Paul, Ray, Ted, Swampy and Bozo headed to the place of the Willy Wagtail valley for a run to Bindoon. As a salute to the Bathurst Race we did a lap of Crest Hill Road and Moolabeenie Road as the closest circuit in WA to Mount Panorama. Cornish Pasties were a popular order as road rules were dissected at the Bakehaus. Back via Great Eastern Highway where we spotted a grinning Goldie who joined the group for a run down Blue Plains Road and Chittering Valley Road. Taking Muchea East Road we took Wandena Road to Great Northern Highway.

Wildflowers were in full bloom particularly on Crest Hill Road.

Cloudier than expected but the countryside looks great. Brilliant to be out with Goldie on his maiden club voyage.
