Beaten by the Weather

A good turn out today to see Dinga's return from travel in the north of our State and Jamie's recently purchased HP.

Noel had a rough start to the day losing a helmet and a bag at the Dome, lifted by a knife wielding opportunistic passer by.

Three HPs were amongst the bikes at Catalanos...a rare assembly.

The plan was to head to Serpentine for the SABC Fly In but it seemed that it was the constant location of heavy rain and strong wind and that any interesting pathway to the event would be an uncomfortable ride through leaf litter and branches.

The weather won and apart from a few hardy riders heading to the motocross at Narrogin, the group dispersed.

We have been fortunate with amazing riding conditions for most of winter but the blustery conditions today prevailed and the ride was cancelled.

Thanks Bozo for the non ride report. But Noel so sorry you had such a bad experience to kick off Sunday. Unfortunately there are some low lIfe scum around and you had the bad luck to meet some.

I am hoping I can identify the POS after tomorrow when I ask the Broken Hill Hotel and close by businesses if they have video footage for that side of the street. First time I have ever parked there without being able to see the bike from where I am sitting. The straps securing the tailbag to the bike were cut very cleanly with a knife - possibly similar to a Stanley knife with new blade. My bag is ID'ed with my name in an obscure location and I cannot recall if I ID'ed the (new this year) helmet in a similar fashion? I will also be randomly visiting second hand stores etc over the next few weeks.
