Accompanying the White Whale to the inland beach at Lancelin

An enthusiastic mob at breakfast this morning talking tyres, suspensions and new models.
Good to see Sleepy Paul, Phil-Bill, Dinga, Rob, Wes, Beemer Dave, Brian/5 and Ross part of the pack.
Peter, Colin, Rhonda, Bozo and Swampy headed out on a 1200 RT dominated ride to Lancelin. We ran into Raider on his Vaporetto LC GS as he headed to the Darling Scarp.
At a regroup at Ginger's we got mixed up with a Harley Davidson dominated group that had two of our mob following the wrong leader when the BMW ride turned off on Warbrook Road. Past the Northlink roadworks on Neaves Road we had a great run down Old Yanchep Road and a short section of Wanneroo Road. A rain interrupted ride down Military Road was followed by engagement with a hooning driver on Cowalla Road. Sappers and KW Roads got us to Lancelin for Bozo to be breathalysed.
Eventually the RTs found the white sand to beach the "White Whale".
A heated discussion at the Lancelin Tavern about adults and children resulted in 4 kids sized meals being ordered and one rider asking if it was OK for him to order off the grown-ups menu.
A slow ride through roadworks on the Indian Ocean Drive before we deviated to Gingin Book Road. A sacrificial Volvo saved the group from flashing lights with the ride ending at Gingin.
Thanks to Swampy for running Tail End Charlie duties and taking the "White Whale" on a bit of sand.
A bit wet and windy but good to get out sharing a lot of humour.
