An enthusiastic and noisy attendee at this morning's gathering had an unusually named bike. Guy thundered in on a Yamaha 900 Diversion looking like a BMW copy that seemed to have the group baffled even if the bike's exhaust wasn't.
Good to see Kim and Andrea back as well as DFS (it must be harvest time) along with over 40 others.
Eleven headed off on a circuitous diversion to Dwellingup. DFS, Peter, German Paul, Kim and Andrea, Colin, Goldie, Wightman, Ted, Stoy, Bozo and Swampy headed past Canning Dam and down Bedfordale Hill to Byford before a run up Nettleton Road to Jarrahdale. The group reduced to 10 for the ride along Kingsbury Drive past the almost completed tunnel and on to a packed Kathina ceremony at Bodhinyana. Goldie's arms were like a windmill as he pointed out schools and buildings from his childhood as we passed through North Dandalup. We took Alcoa Drive and North Spur Road to get to Dwellingup to avoid the roadworks on Del Park Road.
The Blue Wren was a comfortable stop before heading down the hill on Del Park Road (the road works were all sealed apart from a couple of culverts) and on to Lakes Road.
Taking Hopelands Road and Rapids Road the group split up at the end of Lightbody Road.
A brilliant day to go for a ride. Thanks to Swampy for acting as tail end Charlie.

Thanks Bozo and Swampy for a great ride on first warm day since last summer. Great to see so many riders.
