Laos Group Escorted Tour - May 2019

G'Day Slackers,
Perth Adventure Riders (PAR) have organised a supported Adventure Bike tour in Laos for March 2019...the positions filled quickly. 16 Riders depart and commence the ride from 16 - 23 March. It involves a 6 day escorted ride with a rest day either side.
A second Ride has been proposed for May 2019. I have agreed to coord the event. It promises to be the ride of a lifetime. A typical itinerary is as follows:
Itinerary based on 7 days, 6 days ride, 6 nights, Vientiane-Vientiane.
* Day 0: Arrival at Vientiane Wattay Airport.
* Day 1: Vientiane-Muang Fuang.
* Day 2: Muang Fuang-Sayaboury.
* Day 3: Sayaboury-Luang Prabang.
* Day 4: Luang Prabang.
* Day 5: Luang Prabang-Vangvieng.
* Day 6: Vangvieng-Vientiane.
Proposed itinerary(*) based on 7 days, 6 days ride, 6 nights, Vientiane-Vientiane.
70% cool off road, 30 % scenic asphalt roads.(*) Subject to road’s conditions at the time.

The following equipment and services are included:
* One motorcycle Honda CRFL250 equipped with Off-road tires, rear rack, fully insured Third
Party by AGL Allianz Group.
* One back up vehicle Mazda pickup 4WD, 4 doors, AC and embarked spare motorcycle and driver.
* 2 guides (myself and my Lao mechanic) both riding their own motorcycles with their own GPS.
* Transfers from airport to your hotel and from my house/office to airport.
* Accommodation on shared AC twin bedrooms on hotels.
* All meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
* All drinks, water, soft drinks including the famous and delicious Beer Lao ….
* All mechanical assistance, gasoline, diesel, lubricants.
* All tolls and entry fees on touristic sites.
* Traditional Baci, Lao monk blessing ceremony at Papaya Spa at Home, my personal Lao wooden
house…
The following services, costs and equipment are not included:
* Lao visa obtainable on arrival at Vientiane Wattay airport, 30 USD and 2 photos.
Note: The passport validity must exceed 6 month the date of departure from Laos.
* Flights or any other type of transportation.
* Cost of damages, repairs and related costs on damaged bike or equipment supplied by JCA.
* MANDATORY Travel and Medical evacuation insurance.
* MANDATORY Protective gear such as helmet, goggles, body armor, knee guards, body armor,
gloves and off road boots.
* Any alcoholic drinks not mentioned above.
* Personal expenses and Tips.
Cost would be approx $1,500USD plus cost of airfares.
