Good Day All,

I will be making my way down south to Conto Campgrounds on Saturday morning, the 1st Dec 2018. It will be an early start 8am sharp from Dome Café in Victoria Park.
Still need to finalise route which will mostly be dirt road +_ 440km. Everyone welcome to join, if not, I will be very disappointed.

Planning to explore the area a little on Sunday morning and thereafter head back to Perth around 10am, not sure if the route back will be the same but may be in part.

There are two camping areas, the main camp area you must book your own campsite. Booking in advance is advisable. I will be camping further into the forest at a bush camp, small fees apply, no need to book.

Unfortunately no campfires this time of the year.

Cookie mentioned he may look at black top rout down, alternatively make your way down at your own pace to meetup at camp site.

I'm actually heading down to Point Road camp site this week with Camper Trailer to do some mtb riding. I look forward to going back down in 2 weeks on the real bikes!!

Great ride guys. I copied photos and videos in dropbox link below. Sorry could not capture every track, out of memory and battery life....

But... the dropbox link doesn't work

As a caution, remember that the free DropBox account has a limit of 1 gig I think.

Your video and photos, if shared, can cause the 'shared user's account' to blow the limit and require said user to upgrade to 'Business'... equals 'PAY'

So be sure to enable downloading the images and video, not 'sharing'.

I was looking forward to seeing all the video and images from my Himalaya trip last year, only to discover I would have had to upgrade to business and pay for the pleasure......... forever... DropBox Business is notoriously bad to back out of once you start paying.

Happy to hear of others who have had a tasteful experience backing out of the 'Business' account.
