Ride Thurday 31st jan

Despite the hot weather forecast there was two of us for the ride. Departing from Dome Mundaring at 8:30 were Kevin & Brian.
The route out was via Riley road via Chidlow to The Lakes. Direct to York for view from the lookout.
Then north to Quellington Road to Meckering and on the Goomalling. The Go Café was closed being in the process of being relocated down the street so it was on to the Coke Cola Café Toodyay. After a lunch break on through Muchea to home.
We parted in Bullsbrook with Kevin peeling off at Neaves road. The ride only had a few short delays due to road works otherwise it was free flowing.
It turned out a lot more comfortable than expected as 38 degrees was the forecast. Started with 22° in Mundaring, 24° in York, 27° in Meckering, 29° in Goomalling and 31° in Toodyay.
Once down from the hills the temperature rose to 35 in Muchea. Only becoming uncomfortable at 37 with the stop start flow into suburbia. Just made it home on a tank full covering 340kms.
Thanks Kevin for the company
