Ride Thursday 11th July
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

I think I’m about a 99.9% chance to attend. You never know what will drop out of the sky! 8:15am departure from Shell Ascot to join the Swamps at DM.

I have an appointment tomorrow. A 99.99% chance of being a non starter. And the weather still looks great!

Re: Ride Thursday 11th July
Another gathering of like minded individuals at the Dome in Mundaring this morning.
Peter, Brian/5, Ross H., Beemer Dave, Dave K1000 and yours truly followed Peter as he guided through an endless series of back roads before popping out at Inkpen road about 30 minutes later.
Back roads again through to Beverly where we stopped for lengthy lunch and chinwag with the usual dose of good humour doing the rounds!!
The group split after lunch with Ross heading home via York, Peter, and the two Dave's heading for Westdale road and me pointing Harry's head towards Brookton to return home via Brookton Hwy. and home around 1400.
Thanks Peter for leading another good ride today
No Swampy ride next week as I sign my contract tomorrow and rejoin the work force for the next 6 months starting on Tuesday!!
Not bad, Only took 13 weeks from go to whoah!!

Re: Ride Thursday 11th July
Swampy thanks for TEC duties today in our fine weather winter ride. Congratulations on landing that job after all the agony and delays. We will really really miss you on our mid week rides, but if the end result is a return to the BMW brand, well it is all worth it.
Thanks to the rest of the team for a great day.
