Pete Repeat

Peter was the most common name with Electric Pete (2 Volts), Peter S and Peter H amongst the large turnout at Catalano's.
Bowe was getting a bit of attention after his success at Perkolilli. A good turnout despite the clash with the camp cook off.
Thirteen riders and two pillions headed into canola country. Beemer Dave, Ted, Electric Pete, Peter S, His Royal Griceness, Ray, Vic, Ross + Bernadette, GS Bill + Trish, JC, Stoy, Swampy and Bozo headed into the wildflower bedecked hills taking Repatriation Road, Patterson Road and Walnut Road to get to Mundaring Weir.
A regroup at the Lakes saw a shivering Electric Pete head back to a warm home with Ted, Gruff Ross and Bernadette also leave the mob.
A pleasant run down Yarra Road (for most of the group, not HRG) and Talbot West Road for another stop at Beverley. A quick traverse of the hilltops on Top Beverley Road had us in a busy York before travelling via Spencers Brook to Bakers Hill.
A massive queue to get a pie or the odd sausage roll and the group split in two with half following Swampy on a direct ride home and half deviating via Coates Road, Burma Road and Bailup Road to get to Toodyay Road. A minor incident with a loose top box was quickly sorted and the ride was over.

A little cool but the wildflowers and canola were stunning. There were no attempts to ride the bikes into the canola crops for the obligatory yellow background selfies. An enjoyable outing.
