Bungling Bozo saved by smart riders

An impressive array of bikes with a stray scooter belonging to a distinguished gentleman in a safari suit at Catalano's today.
A bit of anxiety as Lefty engaged reverse gear to squeeze into a tight spot next to one of only 25 HP2 Enduros in Australia.
Seven riders and two pillions headed out on a nominated road ride to Dwellingup, Waroona and Collie. Goldie, Beemer Dave, Emperor Eddy, Bill + Trish, Kim + Andrea, Swampy and Bozo made up the Bermuda Triangle Group.
The first leg went well with a run up to Lesmurdie and then down the Scarp on Canning Mills Road. It all went astray when Bozo decided to take a shortcut on Forrest Road and missed his turn back to South West Highway. As Bozo led a group up a no through road, Swampy with superior knowledge of the locale waited for the errant group to return not knowing that they had used a footpath to get to the highway.
Tail End Charlie 1 left behind.
We waited at Nettleton Road but not long enough. Bozo changed the plans without consulting Tail End Charlie 2 and left Kim and Andrea behind on Nettleton Road. The two lost tail end charlies met up and headed to the next lost point with Goldie now as tail end charlie 3.
Tail End Charlie 2 left behind.
Bozo headed up to Jarrahdale in the hope of meeting the lost tail end charlies but they were now behind the group. After a run on Kingsbury Drive and South West Highway we had Swampy catch up. A run up Del Park Road and we caught up with tail end Charlie 2 at the Blue Wren.
The place was packed and it was a masterstroke to have the tail end Charlie 2 arrive first and optimistically hold a table for 8.
Goldie resplendent in a new BMW leather motorcycle jacket headed off home. Swampy, Kim and Andrea also headed on a more direct path home.
So Tail End Charlies 1, 2 and 3 abandoned the ride at Dwellingup.
Bozo, Beemer Dave, Bill + Trish and tail end Charlie 4, Emperor Eddy had an enjoyable ride down Nanga Road to Waroona. Beemer Dave took over as leader on the way home and took us on windy back roads including Punrak Road, Duckpond Road, Banksia Road and Casuarina Road. At Thomas Road the group split up.
Thanks to the four tail end charlies Swampy, Kim, Goldie and Emperor Eddy and the sense of Swampy and Kim to meet up with the group after the Bozo bungles. Thanks to Beemer Dave for the interesting ride home.
A Spring/Summer ride with temperatures over 30 degrees C but with the wildflowers still out.
My apologies for the confusion and chaos today.
