As well as the regulars of Brian 5, Vic and Peter we were very happy to see David, Noel and Digger arrive at Kelmscott Dome for brekkys and coffees. Noel only came for the social chat and unfortunately could not come on the ride.
So 5 of us headed off to Canning Dam, then Albany Hwy, turning right to pass through Jarrahdale for our first stop at Serpentine Dam. Weather absolutely perfect. Brian 5 departed and Kingsbury Drive had the remaining four onto the SW Hwy heading towards North Dandalup.
Vic and Peter on RT’s agreed we could handle the approx 3km of gravel on Scarp Rd so we headed towards North Dandalup Dam, stopping on the Dam wall to admire the peaceful water view. The Scarp Rd gravel section was corrugated but OK, with the GS’s of David and Digger gliding along.
Del Park Rd lead us to Dwellingup with the Nanga Rds leading us to the Waroona Bakery for lunch. A variety of pies, pasties, rolls and wraps were happily consumed sitting outside in pleasant sunshine.
Coronation, Dorsett, Gibbins, the Coolup Rds, Burnside and the Pinjarra-Williams Rds had us purring into Pinjarra .
We took the usual scenic Corio, Hopeland, River and Kargotich Rds to get near to Tonkin Hwy were the group said goodbuy.
Thanks to Brian and Digger for TEC Duties and the others for an enjoyable ride.
