Yes let’s get back and see what the hills men are doing? Leaving Shell Ascot at 7:15am to travel to Mundaring Dome for an 8:30am approx departure. Low 30’s forecast sounds KOOL!

David and I met at Ascot and arrived at Dome Mundaring just as Nick arrived, that’s good at least three today. But as the sun ascended further into the sky Ross, Swampy, Chris, Digger and Brian arrived. So a happy gang of eight left Mundaring with the lunch stop target of DOWERIN. Why DOWERIN cause we can and we haven’t been there for a while. DDDD ie democratically decided destination DOWERIN it fits.
Through Mundaring, Stoneville and Chidlow out onto Lilydale and Breeze Rds into Wooroloo and Wundowie and through Clackline onto Spencer’s Brook Rd. Swampy disappeared here heading towards CCC in Toodyay. Thankfully Chris took over as TEC. Breezed through Northam taking the Irish Town Rd and Haddrill Rd to head towards Goomalling in pleasant high twenties. Goomalling was rocking as usual but we did not stop and headed towards DOWERIN.
DOWERIN was it usual busy self but we boosted trade at the Bakery which was a bit of a Tardus ie looked small from the outside but was bigger inside. Food and drinks were enjoyed by all.
Sails were set for Perth as we headed towards Meckering and York, with temperatures low thirties. Perfect!
Cut Hill Rd, Talbot, and Yarra soon had us back to sanity and we parted company at the Lakes to find our own way home.
Thanks to all for the great company on a longer ride where the weather was kind to us. Special thanks to Swampy and Chris for TEC duties.
