To stop us going crazy with homeitis suggest the following:
1. Meet at Brian 5 St (Harvey St), Victoria Park, at 8:30 am tomorrow. No Cats. Bring a cut lunch or snack. Maintain separation distance.
2. Proceed on ride and enjoy fresh outdoors.
3. Stop en route to consume food. Maintain separation distance.
4. Proceed on remaining section of ride then head home.
Please refer to the President’s email of 18/03/20. We are all responsible for our own safety and actions that may effect others.
This is not an official BMWMCCWA ride just mates together enjoying safe practices and the great outdoors. If anybody suspects they are sick or have contacted a sicky, please stay at home.

For those wishing to be part of a socially separated ride tomorrow I will be leaving from Brian 5 Street (also known as Harvey Street) around the corner from Catalano's at 8:30am.
The ride will go via Canning Mills Road, Tonkin Highway and Rowley Road with a first stop at the BP Freeway Service Station Southbound just south of Mundijong Road. From There we will head on to Safety Bay Road and Mandurah Road to get to the Miami Bakehouse. Home via Estuary Drive and Coolup.

A very quiet morning at Catalanos with around a quarter of the normal group there. Spotted His Royal Griceness, Beemer Dave, Lefty, Cookie, Brian /5, Noel, Nannup Nick, AAA Anthony and Just John amongst the small group.
Around the corner in Brian 5 Road was another small gathering. Eventually eight, Peter Bee, Beemer Dave, His Royal Griceness, AAA Anthony, Sophie, Nannup Nick, Just John and Bozo started the ride. We took the usual route out of Perth along Orrong Road and up to Lesmurdie before turning into Canning Road and Canning Mills Road to descend to Tonkin Highway. Travelling east on Rowley Road we linked with Thomas Road via Nicholson Road.
Beemer Dave was supposed to take us directly to the Freeway via Duck Pond Road but took us on a looped run instead. The route went something like this:
Cumming Road, Orton Road, Casuarina Road, Banksia Road, Duckpond Road, Mundijong Road, Telephone Lane, Haines Road, Doghill Road, Young Road, Folly Road, St Albans Road and back to Mundijong Road and on to the BP Servo at the Freeway.
The group thought we were lost when we passed a cyclist and his pace scooter twice but Beemer was just demonstrating the curving quiet sealed roads that abound on the coastal plain.
After a break at the packed BP Servo we headed out into bumper to bumper traffic on the Freeway and during the short commute to get to Safety Bay Road we lost Peter Bee and His Royal Griceness. The main group headed down Baldivis Road and Sixty Eight Road to get to Old Mandurah Road and Mandurah Road. A brief exchange with a Red Ferrari and most of us made it to the Miami Bakehouse.
We took three tables for the group but another motorcyclist sat down and we had to shuffle the chairs to keep our separation. Eventually Peter Bee and His Royal Griceness arrived as both knew that amongst the myriad of Miami Bakehouses which one was our destination.
After baked goods and coffee the group took Estuary Drive and Southern Estuary Drive to cross the Forrest Highway at Dawson Road and have a run into Coolup. Coolup is Kingia central with masses of that species of the grass trees spread throughout the town. We crossed the South West Highway and looped to Pinjarra via Burnside Road.
Patterson Road, Corio Road, Hopeland Road, Punrak Road, Rapids Road, Lightbody Road and Kargotich Road got us to Thomas Road where the ride ended. There may have been confusion on Mundijong Road where Beemer and another group turned west as we lost Just John and AAA Anthony.
From being separated the ride worked too well. At least two and possibly four riders got separated from the group unintentionally.
Great to get out and get some fresh air and motorcycling joy in a challenging and confused world.
Thanks to Beemer Dave for the impromptu loop and to Peter Bee for thinking through how a ride could work and running as tail end Charlie.

Thank you to all on the ride yesterday, couldn't have asked for better weather if you tried. Plenty of winding roads and a good bunch of people to ride with. Swampy, I hope you had a good day too, we all missed you and look forward to seeing you again once things get back to normal. Thank you to Pete for tail end Charlie duties.
