About time we returned to a ride emanating from Dome Kelmscott.
Thursday’s weather looks fine but cool.
So the standard, leaving Shell Ascot 8:15am to head to Dome Kelmscott for a 9 ish departure. DDD.

The Kelmscott Dome was invaded by seven riders this morning. Joining me was Brian 5, Ross Fiery, Nick, Nurzo, Wes and Ian. Nurzo decided not to join us to travel to Harvey for lunch, so it was six of us heading off in weak sunshine following the railroad through Armadale, Byford, Mundijong and Serpentine running in parallel to an empty bauxite train. We ventured onto the SWH for a short time before turning west onto Elliot Rd, with a short stop to view the paddocks of grass trees and then onto Hopeland, Corio and Paterson to get us into Pinjarra.
So pleasant riding we ventured up the Pinjarra to Williams Rd, taking Burnside and Coolup Rd East to swing us over the SWH and through Coolup. Gibbings, Dorset and Coronation got us onto Somers Rd heading South again. Ross and Wes decided time was running short for them so they headed off on Coronation to Waroona and home. The remaining four took Somers, Bristol, Johnston, Eckersley, Government and Uduc Rds to slip into Harvey.
Stirling Cottage Restaurant was our lunch stop where warming coffees, soups, burgers and sausage rolls were devoured.
It was up the SWH to get us home after a great winters weak sunshine ride.
Thanks to all for the mateship and Brian for his Stirling effort as TEC.
Hope to see you on Sunday and the AGM.
