The weather looks to be fine but fairly cool this Thursday so there will be a ride for Young and Old codgers alike meeting at MOJO'S in Mundaring at 0900hrs for a warming brew before heading off for a ride!!
You may be a Pensioner, a SSFR or a Bludger taking some time off from work? You are all welcome to join with others on a ride into the country which is looking lovely at this time of the year!!
Destination? Bring your ideas with you for consideration

What a great turnout this morning with 7 Old Codgers and 1 youngish Codger braving a rather cool morning, Zero Celcius again for me coming through Karragullen from home
Wes, Nannup Nick, Vic. Bill C. , Andrew, Ross (Scruff), Brian/5 and Swampy welcomed a hot brew and in some cases a hot breakfast at Mojo's Cafe.
We even had a Walk In Stella Appearance, Cecil B. DeMille Alias Digger back from the bush also dropped in for a coffee & chat with some of the geriatric club members with Andrew and me also joining in!!
Ross had Greenhills in his sights for today's destination but Brian/5 had a bee in his bonnet wanting to trial an alternate route to Toodyay?? and was under orders to return to "DullsVille" by 2PM so we opted for the shorter ride!!
I think I speak for all the riders by saying Brian outshone himself leading us through some fresh unridden territory for the majority of us and with the sun brightening the way we all enjoyed a very varied and interesting ride!! Well Done Brian
A lengthy lunch at the Cola Cafe with with a spirited debate about Climate Change with Vic informing us we had approx. 2 years left to enjoy our BMW's before the Polar Caps melted and we all were inundated and drowned!!
Ross was quick to point out he had a safe haven in the hills well away from the pending catalytic disaster and suddenly found himself engulfed with camping permit applications
Over a pleasant hour we managed solve most of the worlds problems before we reluctantly left Toodyay for it to return to it's pastoral peace!!
An Excellent days ride with some great riding companions on a sunny bright winters Day!!
Thank you all for attending!!

Going to Toodyay. I could only find a few new sealed roads that were not on our usual Thursday rides.
For those interested in the route it started from Mojo Café in Craig St Mundaring and ended at Cola Café Toodyay..
Leaving Mundaring it was via the usual Stoneville, Reen, Berry and back to Toodyay Rd. Then down Bailup and Burma into Wundowie, out via Coates to GEH through Bakers Hill and Clackline.
For a change went via Old Spencers Brook Rd, up Trimmers to GEH then left into Eadine and under GEH. Then back to the usual run via Toodyay-Clackline Rd, Hoddy Well and Salt Valley. A left-right on Toodyay onto Sandplain, Folewood, River Road. Just confuse some turned away from Toodyay down Julimar and onto Coondle W road looping round to Bindi Bindi-Toodyay to finally bring us to the Cola Café.
The route gave a mixture of slower narrow winding country roads and wider flowing main roads. There was very little traffic on the back road and flowing traffic on the main roads.
We manage to complete the ride without loosing anyone thank to Swampy’s TEC duties.
Thanks guys for the great company
Brian
