Re: Thursday Ride October 15 Mundaring Mojo Cafe
Eight riders today at Mojos enjoying coffees and some eating. Swampy had advised he was doing a solo so it left Digger, Ross, Mr Grice, Bill, Nick E, new Nick T, Brian taking up TEC and myself to hit the GEH with our lunch destination Quairading. First lost point The Lakes with the Cornerman System ensuring no lost souls. Talbot West to Beverley with the weather a little colder than expected. Short stop in Beverley to check numbers with one of the local ladies chatting to some of the group, then off to Mawson and onto Quairading. The paddocks had various crops with wheat predominantly and canola with some cut hay drying prior to bailing. Minor spots of rain from a heavily clouded sky, but not enough to get wet.
We tried take away from the Quairading IGA with, pies, rolls and wraps consumed with no major complaints from the team.
With the temperature getting closer to 20 degrees and glimpses of sun it was pleasant riding as we headed towards Cunderdin before taking the Goldfields Rd to head to York, Cut Hill Rd, Talbot and the GSH and GEH to head back through The Lakes and Mundaring for our homes.
Thanks to all for a pleasant ride on a cooler than expected Spring day. Special thanks to Brian for outstanding TEC performance.

Actually it was the team marking the corners who should be credited with the outstanding performance.
it meant that the TEC just needed to follow along.
Thanks guys for your good company and a hassle free ride.
