Pre Summer Sale Ride

A noisy mob at Catalano's this morning even before the 2500 Triumph Rocket 3 arrived.
Another one of Bowe's historic bikes was present along with the usual wide range of rides.
Five riders ventured into the shimmering haze for a run to Gidgegannup. Fishy Nick on his sea blue RT, Peter Bee aka B2, Stoy, Adrian and Bozo skirted the main roads through the back of the Bickley Valley, past Mundaring and on to O'Brien Road. We stopped at the Brock Memorial which was adorned with alcohol containers, a Brock tee shirt and flowers for the Bathurst weekend. After a run down Reserve Road we hit a busy Gidgegannup Bakery.
The sky was heavily overcast and the temperature only 22 degrees. Rain followed us as we took Bunning Road to Mundaring but the temp lifted 7 degrees as we descended the scarp.
Thanks to Peter Bee for acting as tail end Charlie. Nice to welcome a new Sunday rider in Fishy Nick.
Lots of chat about the summer sale and BMW gear procurement.
