Where is your Camera when you really want one??

Decided on a quiet solo ride today again to clear some cobwebs and took the Mundaring Weir Road through to Mundaring where glancing up a side street saw a smattering of BM's at Mojo's.
Being true to my real purpose I didn't stop and sailed on through Stoneville and onto Toodyay Rd. Chucked a lefty and picked up on O'Brian Rd. and took a steady run through to the turnoff to the "Woops" where I headed west over hill and dale to Great Northern Hwy and toodled into Bullsbrook along the amazing quiet highway!! (Must all be using the new freeway now)??

A lovely little run through the Chittering Valley and onto Julimar Rd. for a cruise through the countryside to Dare I Say It??....Well Okay, Toodyay and the Cola Cafe :P

I had just pulled up and still still had my leg over Elsie( It's a private thing) when I heard a mob of motorcycles pull in behind me..............Next thing I know His Royal Griceness the "Urban Cowboy" was pulled up next to me saying "And You Thought You Were Going To Have A Nice Quiet Ride by Yourself Eh??" "Too Bloody Bad"!!

There was Not one and Not two but SIX of the blighters dismounting their bikes and giving me the "What For!!

Chris, Wes, Nannup Nick with Old Bloody Nurzo with a mate he picked up from somewhere sus!!, BUT What I wanted my camera for was to get a pic of Scruff alias Ross who had LEAD HIS FIRST RIDE EVER!!

Well Done guys we have discovered a new Ride Leader for the Club who had successfully hidden amongst our ranks for a couple of years without showing his real talent!!

Where are we going next week Scruff??? 8)

We stopped in time for morning tea and got so busy talking that we ended up staying for lunch as well!! ( Watch out for the latest model RT this time next year as someone upgrades his ride??)

This noisy mob of larrikins drowned all the other Cola Customers conversations with good natured banter as we spent a couple of hours socialising!!
(Some even obtained their very own Cola Cafe coffee cards for future use) But I won't embarrass them by revealing their names Okay Scruff and Chris??
I guess it's time I found a new destination now!!

The main group departed after lunch in their anti clock wise ride onto Julimar Rd while I continued on solo down Toodyay rd. to Midland then on to the lush green hills south of Perth after a very pleasant day out!!

Thanks for the company today guys and Well Done Ross!!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
