It was another great weekend, with Guy and I pitching up on day 2. We had just returned from Walpole, where we celebrated the birthday of Steve (Dinga) Bell. When we arrived, Lefty was setting up his guitar (and ruing an event which involved a half opened beer toppling into his topbox and drowning his cous cous). Over 20 stalwarts were in attendance, including usual suspects Loose Bruce, Clive Oakes , Stu, Ross Currie, Mick Henderson and several others. Some of the March flies were the size of magpies but Lefty's music got rid of most of them.
The return journey was made more interesting for the triplet of black airheads, in that the boys received a full news update from an upbeat Isobel. The wet front turned out to be a girlie one, and most of the chaps and gals arrived home semi dry.
