Eight for coffee at Mojos and eight on the ride - a full card. B5 had suggested Corrigin a few Thursday’s ago so when mentioned the always accepting group said yes why not. So I lead Nurzo, Eddy, Nick, Ross, DFS, Robbie with B5 as rear gunner, out of Mundaring to the Lakes for forgotten fuel replenishment.
Followed the GSH to York then headed to Quairading prior to turning South to Corrigin. As expected temperatures starting to rise to early 30’s with the countryside looking very dry. Arrived at Corrigin just prior to midday and managed to find a secluded table in the Mallee Tree Cafe. The onslaught of 8 great looking guys required the one lady to call for reinforcements, so we had to wait a little longer than usual to receive our orders. In the meantime Cascade Ginger Beer and Original Lemonade were the favourite drinks. All subjects discussed and dissected.
The group decided back via Brookton sounded good except B5 who just to be different decided to head towards Collie. So 7 headed to Brookton with Nurzo rear gunner. The group continued to disintegrate at Brookton with Robbie heading to Pingelly so it was final hug and kisses for the group with every man to do his own thing.
So a 450 km ride with max temp 37 seen out in the Wheatbelt.
Thanks all for great group riding and super company, plus special mentions for B5 and Nurzo for TEC duties.
