Back to Bakeries on a Sunday

Postby Bozo » Sun Mar 28, 2021 4:11 pm

A healthy turn out this morning at Catalano's with Beemer Dave back riding. Alex and Nev departed early for Collie. Rod Rocket Peter and Monster were back on their K1600 GT.

Seven riders headed to the Bindoon Bakehaus. Bill, Rainer, Frank, Bruce, Brian/5, Peter Bee and Bozo ran past the airport to Helena Valley and on a Peter Bee led ride through the backblocks of Mundaring. Bunning Road was accessed via Anketell and Mildura Roads to get to Gidgegannup before a run along Reserve, Clenton and O'Brien Roads. The Lancewood woops provided our group and other motorcyclists with some experience of G Force before a break at Gingers. Bullsbrook was packed and was was one of many signed events that we passed through. We got tangled up with another motorcycle group through the Chittering Valley but got to the Bindoon Bakehaus before a surge of motorcycle mounted pie seekers arrived. Wightman and Bowe were already there.

The group split in two for the run home with Rainer, Peter Bee and Bozo taking Crest Hill Road and Moolabenie Road to ultimately get onto Tonkin Highway.

A pleasant day out. Thanks to Peter Bee for leading the mystery trip to Mundaring and for acting as tail end charlie. Bruce ably filled in when Peter inverted his normal role.
