Unfortunately I have a prior commitment this Thursday which I can not avoid so I won't be able to attend this ride
However it looks like Thursday's weather is looking pretty good apart from a cold start so I hope those participating have an enjoyable ride!!
Regards

Yes forecast looks fine but cool. So let’s do a later Gloria Jeans Ascot departure at 8:15 to travel to DOME BYFORD for a 9:30ish departure to perhaps Narrogin.

Chilly but dry start to the day at GJ Ascot. Observed at Ascot, young Wes and Nick and the younger Sophie heading East to we assumed Mojos, bloody rebels

. Anyhow B5 and Robbie, joined me for a tour south on the Tonkin meeting up with Goldie, Iain and Bill for Dome Byford coffees and some nibbles for someone. Goldie needed fuel, so we stopped 0.5 km down the road and Bill after some encouragement from Goldie, discovered his GS rear tyre was shot. I mean down to the steel belts in the tread middle, makes Spacey’s recent rear tyre look like a new one

. So Bill departed heading to Tyres for Bikes.
That left four of us, with Goldie leading, heading through Jarrahdale, Albany Hwy, North Bannister with a toilet stop at Wandering. Temp now 13 up from a low of 9. We glided onto Narrogin around midday, temp 15, into the warm Fortune French Hot Bread Shop. Great food and drinks with the shop doing a very steady run of customers.
Back on the road the team split with Goldie and Iain heading West to Williams and Robbie and I heading North to Brookton.
Back home 3:30 with 410 km done easily. Thanks to Goldie for his part lead and Robbie for TEC duties to help me get back to suburbia. Nice to see Iain joining us when work allows. Hope the rebels enjoyed the day as much as we did.
