Hi All, Help us spring into Spring this coming week and as Friday is looking pretty dry I propose we meet at Mojo's in Mundaring at the usual time of around 0800 - 0830 for a coffee!!

The usual core group will be back in attendance this week so you can pretty well be sure that someone will come up with a plan of a ride around our pristine, green and yellow countryside 8)

Wrap up warm as forecast is 4 to 16C

All our welcome to join us!!

The overcast cold morning did not deter a gathering of cast iron, (read brittle) "old Bastards" from gathering at Mojo's this morning!!

Mind you some could hardly walk a straight line as they were layered in so many items of "Keep out the bloody cold clothing" but a hot coffee soon had them thawed out enough to get their tongues wagging at ten to a dozen!!

In attendance were, Eddy, Scruff, Bill, Wes, Reuben, Peter, Rob, Brian/5, Bozo and Swampy!!

Peter suggested Brookton as a destination as it has been quite some substantial time since we had travelled in that direction.

The group set off minus Bozo and Rob, with Peter leading us all over the bloody place, I can't remember where???? With Wes also dropping out to attend to more important stuff!!

We eventually popped out onto Inkpen Road and onto Talbot Road West for a clear run through to Beverly passing through hectare after hectare of beautiful Canola with the sun trying desperately to shine through the clouds to brighten our day!!

We did not stop at Beverley but continued on through to Brookton, and once again the countryside sparkled in the fresh cold air with the sun beginning to dominate the clouds as we cruised along the quiet back country roads.

A welcome stop at the Brookton Cafe for lunch saw their stock of delicious homemade sausage rolls and pies dwindle rapidly as we, some locals and another couple of BMW riders descended on the place!!
Wes, Rolled up a while later and re joined the crew after taking care of his business!!

It appears we may have recruited some new members to the club with the chance of them coming down to Cat's next Sunday to check us out??

The group headed back down Brookton Highway before splitting up to head home with the temp. rising substantially once I hit the coastal plain!!

Thanks Peter for leading the way and to the rest of the mob for for their company and continued and welcome camaraderie and good humour!!

Great selection of day Swampy to catch the better, but cool weather. Thanks for TEC duties and detailed ride report.
