Mojo’s will be closed until the 5th Jan so for those that wish to join for the usual Thursday gathering in Mundaring it will need to be at the Dome.
I plan to start from Gloria Jeans Ascot departing 7:30 to meander up through the hills to Mundaring.
For those that wish to meet for the last time this year will see you there. A bit cooler day day only with only 31 degs forecasted

In the absence of a ride report copied this from facebook
Nine misty eyed (smoke and humidity) members took advantage of the cooler weather to do the last club run for the year to Dome Mundaring. Fiery Ross had had a late night managing embers and was more laconic than usual. Brian/5 led a very enjoyable ride from Gloria Jeans through fascinating loops and back roads to get to Mundaring. His Royal Griceness brought along the mystery objects which turned out to be tyre locks from a Bultaco. The mob decided on a run to the Wheatbelt.

Before His Royal Griceness revealed the mystery objects purpose there was some discussion round their purpose and what was they should be called – grub, set or simply screws. Further research lead me to the Everything You Need To Know About Grub Screws | RS Australia (rs-online.com) which puts them in the category of a set screw or as we now know probably a lock screw
Not joining the others for the longer ride my return was more meandering through the hills before turning for home. It was a slightly longer ride than intended due to several detours due to road works. Thoroughly enjoying the cooler weather
Happy New Year
Will see you next year
