Four riders departed Gloria Jeans Ascot for Mojo’s. Started down the GE Bypass before deviating into South Guildford and then Hazelmere to loop around the Bushmead Rd roundabout adjacent the Coca Cola warehouse. Then up into Maida Vale before heading across to Gooseberry Hill. Climbing up then down Ridge Hill Rd before turning into Scott Street for the usual rat run to Mundaring. As this route went past several primary schools it was relatively car free due to having school holidays

Some decided to have breakfast down the road before joining the majority at Mojo’s. A technical discussion centred round Eddies M/C inability to start while in gear and the tuning changes needed for lower octane fuel, along with the normal BS.

B/5 in the lead with Rainer, Bill, HR Griceness & Peter Bee following for the ride. HRG was even riding his Royal mount. The route was initially to be the reverse loop to Toodyay, however during a pit stop at Ginger’s after a revaluation of the forecast it was by general consensus change to the Bindoon Bakehaus.

The route out was via Stoneville, Parkerville, Hidden Valley, Gidgegannup, Brigadoon. Down Weir Road, a diversion before getting onto the GNH due to the closure of Haddrill Rd.

It was then up the Great Northern Hwy with a loop along Ellenbrook Rd and another along Ashton before the travelling the Chittering Valley Road, then a Ridgetop Ramble before arriving at the Bindoon Bakehaus.
There were no serious complaints about the diversions added to get extra roundabouts and slow points.

After lunch as the heat had increased it was a direct run home down the Great Northern and Tonkin Hwys.

Thanks Guys another enjoyable day out riding & Peter keep the tail in check

Thanks B5 for leading two interesting rides - one to get to Mojos and the second to get to Bindoon Bakehaus. Both rides provided new roads I had not travelled on before - great! As usual the job of TEC is too easy with all showing caring team riding skills. Also thanks for the detailed write up, not easy.
