At Cats on 4 wheels this morning to return a Library load of books to Noel. Another good mob in attendance and it was good to see Peter Hermit and his lovely bride Dorothy after a long absence!!
Scruff, Still waiting for his new RT took an 1800 for a test run during the week and became rather alarmed when riding through Midland he heard a loud clanging sound. He pulled up and checked the bike and noticed the engine cover had parted company with the bike and was now a mangled piece of metal on the road after a couple of cars had passed over it!!
Scruff decided not to buy that bike!!
Wes, I am retired until they call me for an O/T and Vittorio, The Pizzeria Specialist complete with his new colour code skid lid departed for Toodyay and I left for home to find my wife was still visiting her daughter.
At a loose end and with no boots to polish I quickly changed and took my BBB for a run up Tonkin Hwy to Forrestfield deviated onto Roe Hwy to Toodyay road and had a pleasant vehicle free run up to Toodyay.
I caught up with some of the locals and ordered some lunch and was searching for a vacant table when Wes and Vic arrived after being delayed by stopping and chatting to Bozo's group at Bakers Hill.
A pleasant hour with two good guys soon passed and we then split to make our own devious ways home!!
A rather good way to spend my Sunday, Cheers Guys!!
See you for a coffee on Thursday at Mojo's

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
