Not tellin ya ride

Post by davebeemer1 »

I have organized a ride on Sunday 16th May called the "Not tellin ya ride" which means I'm not telling you where we are going for the day.Your just going to have to trust in me fully my excellent navigational skills without a map or G.P.S  . Departing from the Caltex service station Safety Bay Rd Baldivis at 9am. Follow Kwinana freeway to Safety Bay rd off ramp and turn right at the lights. The Caltex service station is at the first roundabout next to Hungry Jacks. It will be a day ride and will cover great winding and scenic roads.

Wow, can't wait......Can you at least tell us what sort of bike we should NOT come on (or would that expose the excitement?)

Is it a beach run nudge nudge, wink wink??

I can't imagine "Dave" and "beach" together in any context whatsoever.

Hello Dave,

I plan to call past Catalanos for a cuppa and then down to Baldivis on Sunday morning. Will I need my thermos and lunchbox?

Yes, bring your thermos and lunch if you like but we will be stopping somewhere where we can purchase lunch and refuel.

Thanks Dave for not tellin us! The 9 riders who joined you for the day were treated to some great roads with plenty of variation, and some variable weather also!
A great loop that would be worth repeating some time.
Cheers,
David Mc

It was a great day, yes, and best of all was the wonderful company of many happy people! There will definately be a next time for sure. Maybe do an overnighter at the camping spot we were shown too. I have a confession to make. I misplaced the names of everyone on the ride so could you please forward your name and others on to the records officer please so no-one misses out on points  . My apologies to all. See you when i'm looking at you next..........
