I got out for a while today, meeting Brian and Chris at Gloria Jeans for a coffee and headed to Mojo cafe through some fantastic roads lead by Brian. After the coffee, muffin and great conversation around the table, I followed Brian again down the rabbit hole, no idea where I was, on a magical mystery tour back to Perth, again, no idea where I was. Thanks so much mate for a really enjoyable morning ride.

Another ideal day to be out riding and socializing. The route up to Mojo’s was a variation of our northern park one, going through Bellevue, Swan View, the JF National Park, Hovea, Parkerville and then on to Mundaring.

No one was up for a ride so the group split up for the homeward leg. Mark joined me to head home via a southern loop. It was so enjoyable I kept adding loops so ended up down to Pickering Brook, before returning up through Gooseberry Hill. We were too early to go down the zig-zag, so ended up descending down via Girrawheen Dr. Reluctant to end the ride so carried on up to Helena Valley, down Clayton Road past the old Midland Railway Workshops. My distances for the day were 40km up and 70km return.

A great way to enjoy a Thursday.
