As per Chris’s facebook comments. “Seven souls sat in the new Cirque du Soleil structure at Mojo’s to enjoy stories about deserts, trees and fences. Hybrid vehicles also got a hammering and it was around ten that there was any movement to head for a ride to Dwellingup.”.
Had Digger been with the group he would been questioning whether were going talk all morning or go for ride. As the several previous rides had been north or east, with no disagreement, Dwellingup was the choice for lunch.
Four of us rode out via a relatively standard route along Mundaring Weir Road with a deviation down Paul Valley Rd before getting back on track along Aldersyde, Glenisla, on to Canning Rd. Then a dogleg off Brookton Hwy to go down Gardiner and on past Canning Dam, another dogleg off Albany Hwy to turn towards Jarrahdale. Onwards past Serpentine Dam, SWHwy and up Del Park Road, arriving at the Blue Wren in Dwellingup at 12:10.
After have some very substantial pies for lunch the group broke up to go their own way home. Goldie head westerly for a more direct route home, Robbie carried on for further riding,
Bill & B/5 head back via a bit of dirt via Scarp Road before separating at Jarrahdale,
Another ideal day for riding with very little traffic and enjoyable company.
