Ted, WaterMark, Rod Rocket Peter, Frank, Graeme (Grub), Wightman, Brian/5, Rainer, Rob, Peter Bee and Bozo had to regroup several times to clear traffic lights but eventaully got on to Pomeroy Road only to be confronted by a fire and Western Power replacing poles. A slow run in traffic past Mundaring Weir contrasted with a free flowing run to the Lakes.
Talbot West Road was brilliant with a perfect temperature, few insects and the only hazard being a tow truck straddling the road. The run along Top Beverley Road was followed by Marwick Road, Goldfields Road, Minnivale Road and Quellington Road.

A run to Spencers Brook was followed by bakery products at Bakers Hill. Two of the group had stopped at Clackline as a rider had run out of fuel. Peter Bee saved the day but the other rider was left with the taste of fuel in his mouth as a result of lack of siphon practice. The discussion descended into a chain of comments about crypto currency where there were as many views about how ownership and trading works as there were crypto currencies. A simple run home along Coates Road, Liberton Road and Sawyers Valley Road before the ride ended at Mundaring.
A very enjoyable ride on a magnificent day. Thanks to Peter Bee for running as tail end Charlie and problem solving.
