Understanding your Balga from your Kingia

A good buzz at Catalano's this morning with Nadia showing up on her 1200 RT and a few airheads that missed the ride to Nannup. A former BMW Club Member, K5 Glen, has ridden his 5th BMW K Bike from Queensland to WA and he joined the very small group on the ride to Waroona.
K5 Glen, Peter Bee and Bozo took the run past Canning Dam to get to Byford and ran into young Jack with two of his Mandurah mates on motorcycles. A run up Nettleton Road with only two Harley riders disturbing the serenity before descending back to the highway to get to Del Park Road. Dwellingup was full of motorcycles as we negotiated the bends on Nanga Road and then joined the queue at the Pinjarra Bakery in Waroona. Home was via the Coronation Road, Dowsett Road, Gibbings Road and Burnside Road rat run to get to Pinjarra before taking Patterson Road, Hopeland Road and Lightbody Road to get to Mundijong Road where the ride ended.
Great to get out in stunning weather and to resolve the difference between Balga and Kingia grass trees. Thanks to Peter Bee for running as tail end Charlie. Good to have a new face on the ride.

Kingia have "drum sticks" not "spears"
