I was planning to do the usual run from Gloria Jeans then to Mojos but now will not be able to make it.
The forecast has a reasonable day for ride so sorry to miss it.

No need to worry Brian,

The "unusual" group which included Wes, Vic and Scruff met up at the Dome in Mundaring AND for a change sat inside, out of the cold damp morning.
We were soon joined by Noel, Bwana in Oz, giving Angela's 650 a run to warm the oil and also Robbie fresh from a run along the gravel of Ashendon road. on his 1150GS.

An extended period was spent drinking coffee and warming ourselves while discussing a multitude of subjects which proved to be very engrossing, interesting and for the most part edifying for the likes of people like me that failed Perth Modern School and started work at 14!!

It never ceases to amaze me the wealth of knowledge that some of our club members possess in so many varied subjects that can broaden one's horizons for example railway Line sensors that can read the temperature of bearings on carriages!!

Thanks, Noel and Scruff, very interesting!!

Also of interest and which provides no end of fascination to me is to watch Vittorio Susanetti (Vic) speak so eloquently over so many different subjects and to do this without any movement of his hands and arms???

Noel headed for home while the rest of us followed Scruff as he led us onto O'Brian Road, The Woops through Brigadoon to Grt. Northern Hwy. to Bullsbrook.
From there it was a delightful cruise through the Chittering Valley and on into Toodyay for lunch/

A quick stop in to see young Kelly at the Visitors Information Centre before heading for home after a great day out in good company once again!!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
