Post by pspencer »

Yes back to standard to minimise any confusion  leaving Gloria Jeans Ascot at 7:45am to trundle up to MOJOS MUNDARING for a 9:15am ish departure. Perhaps to Beverley Bakery ( Fiery’s favourite). DDD.

Bozo,B/5, Astro Rob and HRH followed Peter Bee as we wound our way through the scarp to Mojos. Beautiful riding, low twenties and no wind - very serene. Caught up with Bill at Mojos.
Destination was the Beverley Bakery so with Bozo and B/5 not going it was an easy group of 4 heading through Stoneville, Chidlow, Wooroloo and onto Inkpen to get to the Talbots. Easy ride with the speedsters moving forward to meet the tourers at the Beverley Bakery. Pleasant outside under an umbrella in the new finished main street with 30 degrees and a breeze. Food and drinks considered by all as good and low priced as we chatted about the normal dribble.
Return trip was along Top Beverley Rd to York and back onto the Talbots to the Lakes and then a free for all to home.
Thanks for the great company guys and outstanding TEC duties by HRH.

The ride up to Mojo’s was through Hazelmere to check on the various buildings progress and then the standard mid Helena Valley route.

After the usual social banter left the group, headed home from Mojo’s via Mundaring Weir Road and through Paulls Valley. As it was too early for the Ziz Zag to be open for traffic deviated via Bickley, Pickering Brook and Canning Mill. A few hazards encountered. several corners covered in shredded leaves / nuts / gravel, an emu with two youngers and finally a log truck. Still a relaxing ride as it was taken at a leisurely pace.

Thanks, Peter for the lead up to Mojo's.
Hopefully next Thursday will join you for the longer ride.
