Contrary to popular belief, there are some places I have not visited here in Oz. One of them is the Big Bell ruins near Cue here in WA. To be honest, there’s probably not much to see but it’s all about the journey; not the destination.
With that in mind, a small group of us are going for a 5 day Adv Ride.
Details are as follows;
Meet at Ampol Foodary at Stratton for a 9am departure on Mon 20 Mar.
Mon 20 Mar - Bush Camp near (probably just south) of Paynes Find on Maroubra Road,
Tues 21 Mar - Bush camp around/near Big Bell Mine,
Wed 22 Mar - Bush camp between Sandstone and Southern Cross,
Thur 23 Mar - Bush camp just East of Hyden (around Forrestonia),
Fri 24 Mar - Return to Perth.
See map for more detail on proposed route. The longest gap between fuel stops is approx 448 km from Sandstone to Southern Cross. Fuel is avail at Koorda, Paynes Find, Yalgoo, Cue, Sandstone, Southern Cross, Hyden, and Brookton. Total distance is approx 2,000km.
This is your chance to become a Star and appear in a video (especially if you crash!).
In my opinion, the route is Big Bike Friendly depending on your level of experience (disclaimer).
If you need more info, pls contact me. Pls pass on to those who may be attending and let me know.
Grab ya gear; Lets go!
See you on the other side!
