The cooler weather made some tardy to arrive but a good buzz and solid turnouts marked the morning.

Nine riders headed out through the Bickley Valley and Mundaring to get to a very busy Great Eastern Highway. Peter (P2v), Astro Rob, Nannup Nick, Fiery Ross, Peter Bee, a trio of Marks and Bozo sliced a diagonal across Mundaring by taking Gill Street through its narrow winding course to get to Kintore Road and Riley Road. Ultimately emerging at a stop sign in Sawyers Valley we waited 10 minutes for a break in the traffic with Fiery Ross very dubious about the choice of route.
The group split at The Lakes with Peter Bee, Fiery Ross and Nannup Nick preferring the quieter streets of Toodyay. An unusual group was left being three Marks and a Bozo to head to York. Given that it is normal for the group to stay behind the group leader it made it an unachievable pass for all the Marks.

York was packed so we snuck in past the Hospital and were able to park up without any drama. Multi Media Mark had very happy spotting a Dagwood sign metres away. Auto Classic had a well set up display but Harley bikes and paraphernalia dominated.

We had to scuff two Marks who failed to return by the nominated time. Only R90S Mark and Bozo headed out via a lot of alternative routes to Bakers Hill. We were just about to leave Bakers Hill when Fiery Ross, Nannup Nick and Peter Bee flew past.
A little more assessment of new ride paths followed before the ride finished at Mount Helena.
Thanks to Peter Bee and R90S Mark for running as tail end Charlies.
