.
The Plumbago Posse ignored the leaden skies to assemble at Gloria Jeans today for a BOM radar guided ascent of the scarp to Mojos. Brian/5 led the wet weather clad group of four through two kangaroo sightings. We were joined by the Dandy Boys at Mojos where a run down Talbot West Road was agreed to round up some emus after dogged discussion with flashes of lightning.

Ross led four riders from Mojo’s initially looping north before a southern loop to Toodyay Bakery via York. The emus along West Talbot Road were reinforced with about 24 feeding in their usual paddock. A stop after York to don waterproofs ensured that the rain stayed away.
Overall, only few periods of light drizzle with a few damp corners for the first half of the ride overall a very stress-free ride.
Thanks, Ross, for the leading and Peter for TEC.
Another very enjoyable days riding.
