Eleven riders took advantage of the stunning riding weather to do a convolution of the Bickley Valley, a meander through Araluen, a ride by of Churchman Brook Dam, a rip past Mount Richon and through Rails Crescent, a nip up Nettleton Road for a repast at the Jarrahdale General Store. Wightman, DFS, David, R90S Mark, Bruce, Multimedia Mark, Rainer, Ciaran, AAA Anthony, Nick, Peter Bee and Bozo comprised the zig zagging group. Some near misses with a dog and horses on the middle of Patterson Road when we came over a crest and a gaggle of geese crossing just as the group turned onto Brockway Road.
An enjoyable break at the Jarrahdale General Store included felicitations to DFS on his birthday and suggestions of business opportunities for "wing mirror" Wightman.
Kingsbury Drive was closed at Serpentine Dam so we had to curtail the planned return journey to do a motor through Mundijong and a slip along Cardup Siding Road. The ride ended at Byford.
