Re: Thursday June 29 MOJOS MUNDARING
A fair turnout at Mojos today with a bracing run through mist, smoke and frost alarms up the Scarp led by Brian/5. Prof Dist paused on his dog walk to have a brief chat. Beemer Dave was luxuriating in his last day of near zero temperatures before returning to Thailand.
Surprising outcome of the morning was how many of the group have had first hand experience with KP.
Extracted from Chris Fitzhardinge's facebook text.
With all the majority heading home from Mojo’s it was only Chris, PeterB & B/5 who headed out via Mundaring Weir Road towards Jarrahdale. Peter continued heading for home from Kalamunda with the remaining pair to continue via the usual route past Canning Dam and on the Jarrahdale Café.
This leg was a bit warmer with the coolest point at the Mundaring Weir round about being 6 deg then warming up a few degrees.
On the earlier ride up to Mojos the black ice warning 2.5deg flashed up while going through Glen Forrest.
A cool but great day for a very enjoyable ride.
