The great dry winter weather continued for the privileged riders today. Relaxing coffee with B/5 at GJ’s, with B/5 then heading home to assist Carol after her shoulder op. What a man! That left me as a solo to Mojos where Nick and Noel were sipping coffee with DFS joining us. Noel was on 4 wheels so that left the three of us deciding on Swampytown, but not the CCC the bakery.
Off through Stoneville, Mt Helena, Chidlow, Wooroloo and Wundowie to Toodyay Rd and onto Lover’s Lane. Progress was halted for ten minutes to allow a herd of sheep on the road, traversing to greener pastures.
The sun continued to shine as we munched on rolls and pies on the elevated verandah at the Toodyay Bakery. Very relaxing looking down on the ebb and flow of mid week Toodyay.
Nick left heading further into the Wheatbelt, DFS headed to the fuel station and I fanged down Toodyay Rd home.
Thanks Nick for superb TEC duties and DFS for joining us.
With only one or two drops on the way home the weather gods shone on us today.
