K1 Dave has a habit of being in the vicinity of the Sunday rides. Today was no exception as we passed a chilled Dave, with his Harley parked up, enjoying the scenery on O'Brien Road.
12 riders took advantage of the stunning weather to scout out the state of the flora and fauna close to Perth. Rainer, David, Nannup Nick, Rod, Medic Mike, R90S Mark, Multimedia Mark, Cameron, Goldie, Peter Bee and Bozo spotted the first significant patches of Leschenaultia on Bunning Road, a bit of wattle on Reserve Road and a golden valley on O'Brien Road. A couple of disinterested kangaroos watched as we descended Campersic Road for a break at Ginger's.
On a run through the Chittering Valley thirty emus were spotted near Keating Road followed by three near the road. A break at the busy Bindoon Bakehaus was followed by a run up Crest Hill Road and Moolabeenie Road to loop back to Bindoon and return to the Chittering Valley via Blue Plains Road. The Polinelli Road deviation got us to Bullsbrook where the ride ended.
Amazing countryside, only hazards were dogs that mistook the group for posties. Roads were beautifully dry. Thanks to Peter Bee for running as tail end Charlie. A bit early for the full colour of Western Australia's wildflowers.

Thanks Bozo for dialling in perfect weather for our entertaining ride. Busy at the Bindoon Bakehaus but as usual only a short wait.
