Thursday September 7 DOME KELMSCOTT
Let’s head down south. Leaving Gloria Jeans Ascot at 7:45am to join the workers on the Tonkin to DOME KELMSCOTT. Leaving there at 9:15am ish to head south. Perhaps Harvey?

Re: Thursday September 7 DOME KELMSCOTT
A perfect spring day for a tour to Harvey.
B/5 and MMM joined me at GJ’s for the run with the workers down to Dome Kelmscott. The Tonkin heading south was light traffic which suited us. Bit nippy though around 10 degrees.
Anthony on his GS joined us at Dome as we consumed coffee in the weak morning sunshine.
So 4 of us on the ride alongside the railway and onto the SWH down to Pinjarra. MMM asked for a reminder visit to Burnside Rd for future reference so we popped up there and then back through Coolup to the standard very pleasurable run to Harvey along Gibbings, Dorsett, Coronation, Somers, Bristol, Johnston, Eckersley, Government, River and UDUC Roads to get to the Harper Street Bakery and Cafe. A familiar face, Goldy was relaxing there having already indulged.
Rolls, pies and sausage rolls were the preferred starters with some indulging in some tasty looking cakes.
Very relaxing and a bit warmer, as the woes of the world were resolved.
The group split on the return trip with some going straight up the SWH, others preferring the return the way we came and some staying to check out more of Harvey.
So 370km of riding in sunny but cool spring weather with the paddocks never looking greener. Thanks to all for another relaxing, entertaining Thursday ride and especially B/5 for keeping the boys in line
