Great turn out this morning at Dome and interesting to see Guy’s excitement about getting a Royal Enfield Bullet.
Nine riders initially followed Brian/5 as he led a bespoke ride through Jane Brook to link up with Haddrill Road. It was a surprise to discover that the extended Connemara Road was open and to scoot along on its brand new bitumen surface. We had two scheduled departures of riders along the way with Wightman and Navigator Nick turning off but MD Mike, R90S Mark, Brian/5, Rhonda, Rob, Peter Bee and Bozo made it to the air conditioned sanctuary of Mundaring Dome. It was surprisingly cool with a temp of only 31.5 degrees. The ride ended at Mundaring and surprisingly there were a few heavy drops of rain on the way home with a peak of 39 degrees.
Excellent ride with Brian/5 showing us new roads and the opportunity to do some new loops in Avon Ridge. Thanks to Brian/5 for leading the first part of the ride and for Peter Bee for running as Tail End Charlie.

Re: Home before it hit 40
Thanks to B/5 and Bozo for leading us on a shorter ride to an early lunch. Not too hot and plenty to see on the journey to the coolness of Dome.
