A very strong turnout at Dome with an impressive variety of motorcycles. A surprise was the visit of Louise, a BMW motorcycle club member from Niagra, Canada.

14 riders and a pillion ran the gauntlet of double demerit points to weave their way through the Bickley Valley, past Mundaring Weir and Parkerville to get to O'Brien Road. The group had to be restrained to deal with cyclists and learner drivers that were also out in force. MIke (the airhead whisperer), Multi Media Mark, Mick S, Mark R90S, Tab (Andrew), Dean + Mandy, Ralph, Rainer, David P, Drummond, Brian/5, Young Mr Grice, James, Peter Bee and Bozo enjoyed an enthusiastic group at Mundaring Weir before tackling the sweeping bends of O'Brien Road and Berry Road with a left hand corner near Toodyay Road almost bringing one rider unstuck on the loose gravel thrown up onto the bitumen. A rapid run down Bailup, Burma and Coates Roads saw us pass a bakery before cutting back to Toodyay on the Toodyay-Clackline Road. Swampy and Vic passed us as we headed into Toodyay and Braam was upstairs at the Toodyay Bakery. Settling into the Chesterfields it seemed only minutes before we were ascending the road past the racecourse and skimming along Sandplain Road. The ride ended at Gidgegannup.
Despite a bit of drama, a great day to be out in conducive riding conditions. Thanks to a patient group, capable corner marking and to Peter Bee for using his skills as Tail End Charlie.
