Eleven riders took advantage of the stunning weather to zigzag through the Bickley Valley for a stop at Mundaring Weir as part of a mystery marathon with little details known of the route or the destination. Diablo David, Richard, Shiner Wright, Rod Rocket Peter, Fiery Ross, Ted, Ralph, Malcolm, Mick S, Peter Bee and Bozo had a reasonable run through the hills. There was a flash as we passed through a well camouflaged Multinova on Mundaring Weir Road but no one was accepting being the trigger.
All went pear shaped as we passed through Mundaring with the short cycle time of the lights and other traffic mixed up with the group. The ride Maestro mistook rider movement to mean the whole group had passed through the lights and deviated off Stoneville Road. The final two motorcycles missed the deviation and were on their way to Geraldton before Peter Bee managed to contact Bozo and a meeting at Chidlows. A run down Liberton Road was followed by mayo on the Maestro's face with a no though road requiring a u-turn. A run up Bailup, Burma, Inkpen and Oyston roads got us to a police check at Bakers Hill - the third time the group has been checked in two weeks.

After a break at Bakers Hill, things went reasonably with a run around the back of Wundowie to end up on Werribee Road to cruise to the conclusion of the ride at Mount Helena. Thanks to Peter Bee for mixing up his tail end Charlie duties with also running as ride leader and sorting out my mess.
It was a good day to get out with the only incidents being irritating for the group and not injuries. Thanks to the group for being flexible to resolve the errors.
