Re: Thursday June 20 BYFORD DOME
As expected clear day, cold in the morning 7 degrees with a max of 17 degrees.
Robbie, MMM , Ralph and David joined me for the run to Byford Dome where Bozo, Steve and Mick were enjoying the sunshine. Harvey was the agreed destination and N Nick arrived just in time for our group departure minus Bozo. Beautiful day to motor through the green paddocks with a few well known backroads and the SWH to reach Pinjarra. Took the Old Bunbury Rd and more beautiful backroads to get to Harvey around 11:30am.
The Harper Street Bakery and Cafe was in full swing but the eight of us managed to get tables outside to munch into their delicious food and drinks.
Sunshine and another great SW winter day.
Went up the SWH on our return with a deviation to zoom through the Nangas and Dwellingup, down to N Dandalup and a run up the middle and the Tonkin to home.
A 320km run in perfect winter weather.
Thanks to all for a great day with special thanks to “see the light” Mick as TEC and MMM for some lead duties.

Did we go south? I nearly missed the ride as I followed Bozo zooming away from the Dome home i think and realised after a couple of corners when nobody was behind me. A quick detour through some back lane reunited me with the A team again. Thanks everyone. Great days riding.
