A band of light showers greeted arrivals at Diverso on Sunday morning with a significant number opting for the amenity of the interior of the cafe. Stories of the Border Run permeated the conversation as did glances at the sky and BOM sites.

A baker's half dozen agreed to follow Bozo on a run through Brigadoon, Old Yanchep Road and Military Road to get to the Gravity Discovery Centre. Stubby, Navigator Nick, R90S Mark, JC, Wightman, Peter Bee and Bozo negotiated the wet roads, closed off ramps, Avon Descent traffic and a cycle event to pause at Gingers. The cautionary tale of DFS and Swampy was told to avoid a repeat occurrence before the ride headed to the Gravity Discovery Centre to search for wildflowers. Only Cowslip Orchids were located before a run the to the CU@ Cafe in Gingin.

An enjoyable run along Moolabeenie Road was followed by a halt on Crest Hill Road to sight Donkey Orchids and Blue Squill.
The run home was through the Chittering Valley with a deviation into Meadowbrook Ramble at Bullsbrook. After a dressing down by a driving instructor the ride ended at Bullsbrook. A very enjoyable day out thanks to a happy group and the skills of Peter Bee as tail end charlie.
